Today, the Fallout London team has announced via both Twitter/X and their YouTube channel that they have reached 1 million downloads on GOG, which for a mod this size is a milestone for sure.
Along with that announcement, just a few days ago, on October 18th, 2024, the team dropped their 1.02 patch that focused on loading times, redesigning patch ways, bugs, and crashes. They also announced there’s an update on the way that will address dreaded train crash bug . The soundtrack has also been updated to feature more music. If you’re interested in more details on patch 1.02, see the YouTube video below.
If you’re unfamiliar with the mod, we covered the launch of the Fallout 4 mod months ago, along with the testing and green lighting of the game sized mod for the GOG store.
The Fallout London team has stated a number of times they’re dedicated to staying with the mod and updating it. As a player with over 30 hours in, I’m delighted to see them following through on their word.
As a reminder, as of now, it is only possible to play this mod on pc, either through GOG directly or by downgrading and modding the Steam version yourself. At this time, Bethesda only supports mods up to 2GB on console, so it’s simply not possible to host the mod there.
We will keep you updated on any other Fallout London news, and as the team would say, “Stay safe and mind the gap.”
