Sony Playstation is known for its big tent pole titles such as Spiderman, God Of War, and Horizion. It’s become a trend that after these games release on console, they get released later on PC, and as expected, the trend is continuing
Just announced today, October 19th, at Marvel’s New York City Comic Convention panel, Spider Man 2 will be coming to PC on January 30th, 2025. This is an interesting development as it took God Of War 2018 4 years to be announced for PC. It would appear that the lead time on Playstations PC ports are getting seemingly shorter every time a new port for a Playstation tent pole title gets announced. This time gap is about 15 months.
Marvels Spiderman 2 was launched on PlayStation 5 on October 20th, 2023, and garnered a 90 on metacritic over 151 reviews with a user score of 8.8 while also getting a 90 over on OpenCritic.
Right now, the game is available to wishlist on both Steam and Epic games and, of course, will be available on both platforms. At the time of writing, there is no listing on GOG. Will you be trying the PC version of the game? Comment below.
